As a user I want a way to select all components on the current layer without needing to drag a box around everything. Should support standard keyboard shortcut for this (depending on OS the user is on)

A way to automatically select all components connected to one specific component

Hey Justin, I created a new layer and then deleted layer 1 and now it just makes layer 2 again before making layer 3.

Similar to creating a custom circle, but with the ability to specify what percentage of the circle to draw. For example: 50% would be half of a circle. Add an option to the "custom circle" diaglog that lets you toggle on/off semi-circle. The ability to "lock" and "unlock" a component or group of components. When locked, they can not be moved, edited, deleted, rotated, or otherwise modified. The option to Lock/Unlock should be an icon directly on the selection toolbar. When locked, all other icons or menu items that allow you to modify the locked thing should either be hidden or grayed out. Copy/Pasting (or duplicating) a locked component should create a non-locked component, but leave the original locked. Hot key: Ctrl + Shift + L

If the user is holding down "Alt" on their keyboard when they start dragging a component, or a component group, duplicate the component(s) and start dragging the duplicate. Note: Need to ensure proper threshold of dragging has happened before actually duplicating, so that the code doesn't duplicate in the exact same position without the user realizing, and then they have stacked components which they can't actually see. Basically, as long as the cloned components always start somewhat offset from the original, this should reduce the problem of accidental stacking. Doesn't happen in iOS Safari. I start in portrait mode, open BrickLayouts, rotate device into landscape, then back to portrait. The now looks distorted. Any component added to the layout will be drawn distorted too. Rotating it more times will make the distortion even worse. Doesn't happen on desktop Chrome, or other iOS browsers In the attached screenshot, you can see how the grid and the track part are both squished/distorted after I have rotated the screen to landscape and back to portrait

Race condition. While dragging around component(s), holding down "R" on the keyboard will rotate very quickly. This sometimes causes the hitbox to be duplicated. When dragging starts, the code removes the component from being in the rtree, so the rotation code should probably check if the component is currently being dragged, and if it is, don't mess with the rtree.

When I select a part, and hit "R" on my keyboard, the part rotates. I then click the rotate context menu button and the part rotates by a different amount than the "R" key made it rotate. These should be consistent --- After some more checking this appears to be a bug where the code that handles keypresses for the hotkeys. It is handling the "r" key twice. I think when the log for handling rotating while dragging was added, the older code for only handling it when a component is selected was not removed.
