Hey Justin, I created a new layer and then deleted layer 1 and now it just makes layer 2 again before making layer 3.

Steps to reproduce: Start a new blank layout Add a custom shape. Rectangle, 10x10 studs. Click "Create" Click the "Edit" icon on the selection toolbar for this new custom shape Don't change anything, just click "Save" The rectangle will suddenly jump to a position that it was not previously in

Doesn't happen in iOS Safari. I start in portrait mode, open BrickLayouts, rotate device into landscape, then back to portrait. The now looks distorted. Any component added to the layout will be drawn distorted too. Rotating it more times will make the distortion even worse. Doesn't happen on desktop Chrome, or other iOS browsers In the attached screenshot, you can see how the grid and the track part are both squished/distorted after I have rotated the screen to landscape and back to portrait

Race condition. While dragging around component(s), holding down "R" on the keyboard will rotate very quickly. This sometimes causes the hitbox to be duplicated. When dragging starts, the code removes the component from being in the rtree, so the rotation code should probably check if the component is currently being dragged, and if it is, don't mess with the rtree.

When I select a part, and hit "R" on my keyboard, the part rotates. I then click the rotate context menu button and the part rotates by a different amount than the "R" key made it rotate. These should be consistent --- After some more checking this appears to be a bug where the code that handles keypresses for the hotkeys. It is handling the "r" key twice. I think when the log for handling rotating while dragging was added, the older code for only handling it when a component is selected was not removed.

In my settings under User and Workspace, I have 'Snap to Grid' selected. When I move an object, it doesn't seem to stay aligned with the grid.

When you rotate your device, the grid is only drawn to what was shown before you rotated. See attached screenshot. I rotated my phone and the lines didn't continue to the edge of the screen until I panned the screen a tiny bit, and then everything fixed itself

As a user, I want the text box to automatically have focus when I select to edit the name of a Layer, so that I can immediately start typing instead of needing an additional click/tap.

When you click a component/part, sometimes the code thinks you are starting to drag it instead of select it. Threshold for dragging should scale with zoom level, also it should take more mouse movement to start a drag when the part/component is connected to another one than if it is unattached.
