Rooms/Walls

Rooms and walls so a user can put in the dimensions of the space they have before placing tables and other components. Collision should be toggle-able so a user can decide if they want to be prevented from placing things that would not fit in within the confines.
Imagine that you could input that your room is 12 feet by 12 feet. A box is then drawn on your screen, and you have the ability to select where one or more doors or windows are. You can add where a support beam is, or block out space used by existing furniture. Once you finish that, you can start adding tables/benchwork to the room. BrickLayouts would allow you to quickly determine clearances (aisle widths) so you can find the best configuration for your room. Then you start putting down your track/baseplates/whatever. When you are done you will know where everything needs to go, and even have the ability to measure distances between tables and room walls/objects so you can quickly put everything together in the real world.
This would support non-rectangular rooms/spaces as well.
Please provide feedback on this idea. This will likely be added eventually, but at this time we are not sure how much demand there would be for this feature, or if the way we are imagining it is what the majority of people would find useful.
