As a mouse and keyboard user, I want to double click the name of a layer to bring up the ability to edit the name, because that is intuitive to me.

I watched testers do this before they notice the pencil icon for editing. Should be a fairly simple enhancement to allow opening the editor either using the button or double clicking the text
