Added the ability to duplicate a selected component (0caa2ab). This work laid the ground for copy/paste, and allowed me to optimize a bunch of things related to how components are added to the layout

First I'll add the ability to "clone" the selected component. At that point a copy/paste feature should be very easy to implement.
